The NFL Wants to Reward Snitches & Gary Kubiak's Role Increasing in Denver

Thursday Jul 05, 2018
The NFL, in another brilliant move decided that it wants to reward players and reduce their PED suspensions if those players rat out, snitch, or tattle tale on other players using PEDs. I've been listening to a lot of true crime podcasts lately, and learning just how unreliable prison snitches are, so I'm glad the NFL and Roger Goodell saw this and said, "Hey let's take this broken, old idea, and apply it to the league. This news came out just a couple days after we learned that Julian Edelman's of the New England Patriots suspension appeal had been denied by the NFL. Will Keys now asks how long before we find out that Tom Brady is only suspended for 2 games?
The Denver Broncos announced that they have signed rookie running back from Oregon Royce Freeman to a for year contract, that the will not be exercising Paxton Lynch's 5th year option, (no duh) and that Gary Kubiak is now the senior director of player personnel after Tom Heckert is stepping down for health reasons.
Brandon Perna of ThatsGoodSports on YouTube and Will Keys discuss the most boring football news occuring during the week of America's birthday.

In this episode of That's Good Sports Brandon Perna & Will Keys explore Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Jameis Winston's track record of sexual assault stemming from his time at Florida State University, and now in the NFL after the NFL suspended him three games for grabbing the crotch of a female Uber driver in March of 2016. It was a bad week of news in the NFL with William Jenkins, Janoris Jenkins brother being charged with manslaughter of Janoris' friend Roosevelt Rene in Jenkins home, and the Broncos owner Pat Bowlen's wife Annabel announcing that she too has Alzheimer's disease.
Before getting into the heavy topics in this episode we discuss some non relevant Denver Broncos news like Von Miller landing #9 on the NFL Top 100 list, and how Tom Brady may have revealed a sexual secret about what he and his wife like to do after a shower. We are all over the place in this one.

The Denver Broncos officially signed rookie and 5th overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft Bradley Chubb to a 4 year, 27 million dollar deal that includes a 17.9 million dollars signing bonus. Last week DeMarcus Ware of the NFL network stated that Chubb, an outside linebacker reminded him of, well himself. If Chubb is as good or even close to as good as Demarcus Ware he will be a steal with his new contract, and form a dangerous tandem next to Pro Bowler, and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller. We also love Baker Mayfield telling Colin Cowherd that he’s a dick.
The That’s Good Sports podcast will also discuss the new proposed, but temporary name for Mile High Stadium. Why the Tennessee Titans are the favorites to land wide receiver free agent Dez Bryant, and the improved fantasy value from some player that switched teams this offseason. Will guys like running back Jerick Mckinnon, Dion Lewis, and Kirk Cousins benefit from switching teams. The Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, & New England Patriots all moved those players this offseason.

Thursday Jun 14, 2018
The Denver Broncos hired former Broncos & Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker Demarcus Ware as a part time pass rush coach. Ware is scheduled to be with the team 4-5 times per month to pass along his Hall of Fame pass rushing knowledge to Von Miller, Shaq Barrett, Shane Ray, and rookie first round selection Bradley Chubb. Quarterback Case Keenum had nice things to say about rookie wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton. Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck finally threw a football for the first time in about 8 months after trying to recover from a shoulder injury. Will Keys & Brandon Perna cover all that and more NFL news in this episode of the That's Good Sports podcast.

Will Keys and Brandon Perna discuss some of the world's most important Denver Broncos and NFL News in the 2nd epsiode of the That's Good Sports podcast.
Terrell Owens is skipping his Hall of Fame Induction in Canton Ohio. The former NFL wide receiver, most notably for the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and Philadelphia Eagles decided to celebrate his induction into the Pro football Hall of Fame on his own terms. Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt apparently punched some guy in the face at a resort in Ohio. Julian is Edelman facing 4 game suspension for PED use. The New England Patriots wide receiver is appealing the suspension which means the NFL & Roger Goodell could reduce the suspension or remove it since this was his first violation. Tom Brady was suspended the first 4 games of the 2016 season and the Patriots won the Super Bowl that year.

Denver Broncos Ownership & NFL News
Monday Jun 04, 2018
Monday Jun 04, 2018
Welcome to the first episode of the That's Good Sports podcast with Will Keys & Brandon Perna. In this first test episode we discuss:
Beth Bowlen was denied the opportunity to become controlling owner of the Denver Broncos by the Broncos trustees. Pat Bowlen put the team in a trust in 2013 when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The trust headed by team president Joe Ellis stated that Beth, “Beth Bowlen is not the only Bowlen child who is expressing interest in becoming controlling owner, and that the trustees have informed Beth of their determination that she is not capable or qualified at this time.”
This could mean a lot of things for the team moving forward, but right now it is very hard to gauge what is true and which side is not full of BS. In this premier episode of the That’’s Good Sports podcast Brandon Perna and Will Keys discuss the Broncos, Case Keenum, Demarcus Ware attending OTA’s, and topical NFL News ranging from Brandon Marshall’s signing with the Seattle Seahawks, to Josh Allen’s performance in Buffalo, and Joe Thomas willing to go bankrupt for LeBron James.
