Beth Bowlen was denied the opportunity to become controlling owner of the Denver Broncos by the Broncos trustees. Pat Bowlen put the team in a trust in 2013 when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The trust headed by team president Joe Ellis stated that Beth, “Beth Bowlen is not the only Bowlen child who is expressing interest in becoming controlling owner, and that the trustees have informed Beth of their determination that she is not capable or qualified at this time.”

This could mean a lot of things for the team moving forward, but right now it is very hard to gauge what is true and which side is not full of BS.
